The ‘Lovers & Dreamers’ series is a collection of ethereal, light filled and poetic landscapes: Messy, wild and tangled florals; dramatic and bold skyscapes; hazy and dreamlike treescapes-the images are textural, palpable and organic.
I embroider my photographs by hand using a needle and organic thread- such as silk, mohair and wool. I sew directly on the printed cotton rag paper. Despite the paper’s toothy and textured composition, the prints are delicate and unforgiving. The works are a labor of love.
